Curriculum Producer - The Uncommon Business

Curriculum Producer

The builder who ships the demos, modules, and IP that make every cohort sharper.

Full-Time | Remote | Reports to Director of AI Curriculum

The execution engine of our curriculum function. You ship the AI demos, build the Notion modules, and extract the playbooks that turn every call, cohort, and Slack thread into reusable IP. Not a strategist. Not a manager. A builder who loves volume, accuracy, and the quiet satisfaction of a system that works the third time as well as the first.

🔍 Who We Are

The Uncommon Business is the world's fastest-growing AI-first education company, teaching business leaders to architect intelligent systems, not just prompt tools. We don't do busywork, legacy thinking, or 80-hour founder weeks. We build companies where AI handles the repeatable, humans drive the irreplaceable, and leaders scale without burning out. We're profitable, EOS-driven, and operate in championship-level surge cycles. You'll be promoted on impact and ownership, not tenure. High performers thrive here. Passengers don't last.

🚀 If You Worked Here Last Week

You might have:

  • Built four Claude Projects and a full reference file system for two A2A teaching companies, tested end to end and shipped to the cohort by Friday
  • Listened to a 75-minute coaching call and extracted three reusable playbooks into the IP library before end of day
  • Built out a complete UCL Strategy Lab module in Notion, following the production template, ready for Carter's review
  • Updated 12 Superhuman Work modules to reflect a new prompt format the Manager rolled out
  • Spotted a duplicate framework living in two Notion workspaces and consolidated it into the central library

🎯 Your Core Responsibilities

We value ownership over task lists. Here's where you'll lead:

  • AI Demo & Infrastructure Build: Build, test, and ship the Claude Projects, Claude Skills, AI demos, and reference systems that power weekly curriculum modules across A2A, UCL, Superhuman Work, and Bootcamps, using legacy tools like custom GPTs only where they still make sense. Build to the standard your Manager set, flag what's not working, and iterate fast based on student feedback.
  • Notion Module Production: Turn approved curriculum scripts and frameworks into polished, on-brand Notion modules that students can navigate without friction. Own the build quality from first draft to live deployment.
  • IP & Playbook Extraction: Mine live calls, Slack threads, UCL discussions, Strategy Labs, and student wins for extractable playbooks, frameworks, and case studies. Ship 4+ new pieces of IP into the library every month.
  • Library Maintenance: Keep the prompt, tool, framework, and demo library clean, current, and findable. Spot duplicates, retire stale assets, tag and organize new builds so the team can find what they need in under 30 seconds.
  • Cohort Support: Partner with the Manager and student success team to identify in-flight curriculum gaps and ship fixes during live cohorts. Speed and accuracy matter more than perfection.

🧠 The Traits We're Calling In

We hire humans, not checklists, but success here requires:

  • You've built working AI tools (Claude Projects, Claude Skills, automations, and legacy tools like custom GPTs) that real users actually used, not portfolio pieces
  • You ship volume without sacrificing quality, and you take pride in the third build being as clean as the first
  • You read transcripts, threads, and call recordings and instinctively spot the reusable pattern most people miss
  • You love templates, systems, and standards, and you'd rather follow a great one than build your own from scratch
  • You default to AI as a force multiplier and you're allergic to manual work that could be automated

✅ What Success Looks Like

You own these key metrics:

  • Production Velocity: Ship 2-3 AI demo infrastructures and 1-2 Notion modules per week during standard operating periods, double during launch windows.
  • IP Output: Extract and ship 4+ new playbooks, case studies, or frameworks per month into the central library.
  • Quality Bar: 90%+ of shipped builds require zero revisions from the Manager before going live.
  • Library Health: Central library stays clean, current, and findable. Anyone on the team can locate any asset in under 30 seconds.
  • Launch Execution: During launch seasons, hit zero-defect delivery on every cohort-facing build, no matter the volume.

📋 Launch Season Expectations

Our launch seasons are intentionally high-intensity and fast-paced to drive transformation for our clients and our team. Twice per year (10-12 weeks total), team members in launch-critical roles are expected to be available from 7 AM to 7 PM, with additional hours often required for preparation, execution, live event support, and post-launch debriefs.

This pace is not for everyone, and that's okay. We set this expectation clearly so that only those who thrive in high-accountability, high-impact environments choose to be here.

In return, you'll be part of a team that moves fast, solves real problems, and builds meaningful outcomes. You'll grow rapidly, work alongside exceptional talent, and contribute to work that truly matters. Outside launch seasons, workload is sustainable and strategic, focused on building the systems that make the next launch even stronger.

💰 Compensation & Support

Base Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 (depending on experience)

Bonus: Periodic bonus available based on company and individual performance, awarded at leadership's discretion

We Invest in Your Performance, Not Just Perks

  • Health & Wellness: Monthly wellness stipend plus access to personalized and group wellness coaching to sustain high performance.
  • Unlimited PTO with real boundaries: We run in championship seasons and strategic recovery periods, so time off is genuine downtime.
  • True companywide downtime: We close December 25 through January 1 so everyone fully disconnects.

We're not trying to be Google. We're building a championship team that operates at the highest level during launch seasons and recovers like pros in between.
