Enrollment Strategist - The Uncommon Business

ENROLLMENT STRATEGIST

Own the Close. Carry the Quota. Convert the Demand.

Full-Time | Remote | Reports to Enrollment Manager

We generate the leads and hand you a warm, qualified conversation. Your job is to close it. This isn't a scripted call center role, it's quota-carrying ownership of the buying moment, backed by an AI agent that handles first touch so you spend your time where it counts: converting. If you want a seat where your close rate is the scoreboard and there's real commission upside for beating it, this is built for you.

🔍 Who We Are

The Uncommon Business is the world's fastest-growing AI-first education company, teaching business leaders to architect intelligent systems, not just prompt tools. We don't do busywork, legacy thinking, or 80-hour founder weeks. We build companies where AI handles the repeatable, humans drive the irreplaceable, and leaders scale without burning out. We're profitable, EOS-driven, and operate in championship-level surge cycles. You'll be promoted on impact and ownership, not tenure. High performers thrive here. Passengers don't last.

🚀 If You Worked Here Last Week

You might have:

  • Closed a full pipeline of live SMS and phone conversations, holding your close rate at or above the 59% team baseline.
  • Owned a clean handoff from a Concierge-set lead through payment, keeping attribution hygiene tight in Uncommon Closer.
  • Troubleshot an AI agent handoff mid-conversation, catching where automation left off and taking the buyer the rest of the way.
  • Worked a book of qualified demand pulled from a pool of 69,000-plus active leads without losing a single one to a slow response.
  • Flagged a friction point in the setter-to-closer handoff to Sales Ops before it cost the team a sale.

🎯 Your Core Responsibilities

We value ownership over task lists. Here's where you'll lead:

  • Close Assigned Enrollment Conversations. You own the buying moment end to end for every lead handed to you, from Concierge handoff through payment, converting qualified demand into enrolled students under the Mirror standard.
  • Carry Quota. You're accountable for individual revenue targets that phase in after launch, roughly $800K per launch and $1.6M annualized, with uncapped commission that pays more the more you close.
  • Handle Decision-Stage Objections. You work live SMS and phone conversations at high volume, meeting buyers at the moment they're deciding and moving them to yes without losing the standard of the close.
  • Keep CRM and Attribution Clean. You log every touch in Uncommon Closer so Concierge influence credit and your own closing credit both stay accurate, because a messy pipeline breaks the whole team's numbers, not just yours.
  • Troubleshoot the AI Handoff in Real Time. You work alongside a V1 SMS AI agent that owns first touch and objection handling upstream. When a conversation needs a human, you're fluent enough with the tech to pick it up mid-thread without dropping the buyer.

🧠 The Traits We're Calling In

We hire humans, not checklists, but success here requires:

  • You've closed deals across SMS and live sales calls, and you can point to a real close rate, not just activity numbers.
  • You're coachable and resourceful, the two traits we weight heaviest, because the Mirror method and our product depth are things you'll build here, not things you need to arrive with.
  • You default to an AI and systems-first mindset, treating the agent as a teammate that sets you up rather than a threat to your seat.
  • You stay emotionally steady at high volume, because launch season means back-to-back decision-stage conversations with no room for a bad day to show up on a call.
  • You think in quota and pipeline, not just conversations, and you track your own numbers before anyone has to ask.

✅ What Success Looks Like

You own these key metrics:

  • Ramp Speed: In seat and closing productively before the Fall cart close in mid-to-late October.
  • Close Rate: Hold or beat the team baseline close rate of roughly 59.4% on live conversations.
  • Handoff Quality: Run clean setter-to-closer handoffs with Concierges, with full attribution hygiene in Uncommon Closer.
  • Quota Attainment: Once phased in post-launch, hit your individual quota of roughly $800K per launch, $1.6M annualized.

📋 Schedule Expectations

Launch Season Expectations:

Our launch seasons are intentionally high-intensity and fast-paced to drive transformation for our clients and our team. Twice per year (10-12 weeks total), team members in launch-critical roles are expected to be available from 7 AM to 7 PM, with additional hours often required for preparation, execution, live event support, and post-launch debriefs.

This pace is not for everyone, and that's okay. We set this expectation clearly so that only those who thrive in high-accountability, high-impact environments choose to be here.

In return, you'll be part of a team that moves fast, solves real problems, and builds meaningful outcomes. You'll grow rapidly, work alongside exceptional talent, and contribute to work that truly matters. Outside launch seasons, workload is sustainable and strategic, focused on building the systems that make the next launch even stronger.

💰 Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary: $80,000 - $90,000

Bonus opportunities based on quota with uncapped, revenue-funded commission and acceleration bands for exceeding quota.
