20-30 hours/week | Remote | Reports to Director of Marketing
We're hiring a Social Media Manager to turn TUB into the go-to brand for AI-first business transformation. You'll own our daily social presence across LinkedIn, Instagram, X, and emerging platforms—translating bold ideas into scroll-stopping content that drives enrollment and community engagement. This isn't a post-and- ghost role. You'll build community, test formats, and scale content during championship-season launches while maintaining brand voice that feels human, high-trust, and transformation-focused.
Here’s how the job qualifications align with your profile.
Do you have experience in Workforce management?
Remote
The Uncommon Business is the world's fastest-growing AI-first education company, teaching business leaders to architect intelligent systems, not just prompt tools. We don't do busywork, legacy thinking, or 80-hour founder weeks. We build companies where AI handles the repeatable, humans drive the irreplaceable, and leaders scale without burning out. We're profitable, EOS-driven, and operate in championship-level surge cycles. You'll be promoted on impact and ownership—not tenure. High performers thrive here. Passengers don't last.
You might have:
Published 12 pieces of platform-native content across IG, TikTok, LinkedIn, and X that generated 47 new bootcamp signups and 200+ meaningful engagements
Tested a new carousel format on LinkedIn that drove 3.2x more saves than previous posts, documented the win, and built it into the content calendar system
Collaborated with Student Success to surface and repurpose three student transformation stories into social-first video clips that drove 50K+ impressions
Managed 80+ DMs and comments across platforms, triaged two high-intent prospects to Sales, and identified a pattern in objections to feed back to Director of Marketing
Scaled content output to 2.5x normal during launch surge week, coordinating with Marketing Coordinator on asset creation while maintaining brand voice and quality standards
We value ownership over task lists. Here's where you'll lead:
Content Creation & Distribution: You'll create and execute daily social content across LinkedIn, Instagram, X, and TikTok—blending educational insights, student wins, behind-the-scenes moments, and brand thought leadership. You'll use AI for ideation, caption writing, and iteration (seeing it as creative partner, not replacement) while maintaining TUB's bold, direct, transformation-focused voice. Content includes threads, carousels, short-form video, and platform-native formats that stop scrolls and drive action.
Community Management & Engagement: You'll own daily engagement across all platforms—responding to comments and DMs, building relationships with our audience, and positioning TUB as thought leaders in AI-first business. You'll surface student success stories for content, collaborate with Client Success on UCL member highlights, and turn community insights into content opportunities that strengthen brand affinity and enrollment intent.
Performance Tracking & Optimization: You'll track reach, engagement, and conversion attribution weekly, using data to iterate on what's working and kill what's not. You'll test new formats, hooks, and content series to improve results, report findings to Director of Marketing, and optimize the content calendar based on what drives bootcamp signups and masterclass registrations—not vanity metrics.
AI-First Systems Building: You'll document what works, create repeatable processes, and build content systems that scale without breaking. Every successful format, hook, or engagement tactic gets codified so future team members can replicate it. You default to AI and automation before manual work, building leverage into everything you touch.
We hire humans, not checklists, but success here requires:
You've managed social media for 2-4+ years for a brand, startup, or agency (education/B2B preferred) with measurable growth results you can point to. You've built social presences from early traction to serious scale and understand platform-native strategies that actually work.
You're a strong writer who translates complex into punchy. You take AI, business transformation, and leadership concepts and make them scroll- stopping without dumbing them down. Your captions have personality, clarity, and a clear call to action.
You're AI-fluent and ship fast. You're comfortable using AI for content generation, ideation, and optimization—treating it as leverage, not a threat. You have a sharp eye for trends, hooks, and visual content, and you test- learn-optimize relentlessly.
You're metrics-driven with an ownership mentality. You track what matters (enrollment attribution, engagement quality, conversion intent) and use data to improve, not just report. You finish what you start, thrive in fast-paced environments, and scale output during launch seasons without sacrificing quality.
You're a self-starter who thrives in remote, surge-cycle environments. You juggle multiple content streams, manage your own calendar, and proactively surface problems and solutions. You don't need hand-holding—you need direction, then you run with it.
You own these key metrics:
Social Enrollment Attribution: 30-40% of bootcamp and masterclass signups attributed to social channels within 90 days, with clear tracking and reporting on which platforms and content types drive conversions.
Engagement Quality: 15-20% improvement in engagement rate (saves, shares, meaningful comments vs. vanity likes) quarter-over-quarter, demonstrating audience depth and intent—not just reach.
Content Consistency & Volume: 5+ high-quality posts per week during steady- state, scaling to 12-15/week during launch windows, with zero missed days and maintained brand voice across all platforms.
Community Growth & Management: 100% response rate to DMs and high-intent comments within 24 hours, with documented insights fed back to Director of Marketing and Client Success for strategic iteration.
Launch Season Expectations: Our launch seasons are intentionally high-intensity and fast-paced to drive transformation for our clients and our team. Twice per year (10-12 weeks total), team members in launch-critical roles are expected to be available from 7 AM to 7 PM, with additional hours often required for preparation, execution, live event support, and post-launch debriefs.
This pace is not for everyone—and that's okay. We set this expectation clearly so that only those who thrive in high-accountability, high-impact environments choose to be here.
In return, you'll be part of a team that moves fast, solves real problems, and builds meaningful outcomes. You'll grow rapidly, work alongside exceptional talent, and contribute to work that truly matters. Outside launch seasons, workload is sustainable and strategic—focused on building the systems that make the next launch even stronger.
Salary: $54,000-$72,000 annually (20-30 hrs/week, surge to 30-40 during launches)
Structure: W2 part-time employee with potential to transition to full-time based on business needs and performance
We Invest in Your Performance, Not Just Perks
Health & Wellness: Monthly wellness stipend + access to personalized and group wellness coaching (Human Performance Program) to sustain high performance
Professional Growth: $1,500-$3,000 annual development budget for courses, conferences, certifications, and tools that sharpen your edge
Unlimited PTO: Real flexibility with clear boundaries—we operate in championship seasons and strategic recovery periods (sustainable pace)
Full Remote Setup: MacBook, external monitor, desk equipment—we equip you to do your best work
True Downtime: Company-wide closure December 25–January 1 so you can fully disconnect
We're not trying to be Google. We're building a championship team that operates at the highest level during launch seasons and recovers like pros in between.
