Senior Manager, Funnels & Conversion

The Data-Obsessed Operator Who Makes Every Click Count

Full-Time | Remote | Reports to Director of Operations

You're not here to "manage marketing." You're here to own every conversion point from click to cash—making sure our 4-6 active funnels convert at the highest possible rate, our data is bulletproof, and we know exactly what's working. You live in dashboards, run A/B tests in your sleep, and treat a 22% conversion rate like a personal insult when you know it should be 35%. Marketing drives traffic. You make sure we monetize it.

Who We Are

The Uncommon Business is the world's fastest-growing AI-first education company, teaching business leaders to architect intelligent systems, not just prompt tools. We don't do busywork, legacy thinking, or 80-hour founder weeks. We build companies where AI handles the repeatable, humans drive the irreplaceable, and leaders scale without burning out. We're profitable, EOS-driven, and operate in championship-level surge cycles. You'll be promoted on impact and ownership—not tenure. High performers thrive here. Passengers don't last.

If You Worked Here Last Week

You might have:

  • Identified that our A2A masterclass landing page conversion dropped from 35% to 22% and launched three headline tests to fix it—results came back Friday showing 33% conversion on the winner

  • Discovered a formula error showing 1.6 ROAS when it was actually 1.89, fixed the dashboard, and implemented QC protocols so it never happens again

  • Built a testing roadmap showing that migrating from GHL to Kit could improve email deliverability from 15% to 40%+, directly impacting show-up rates from 25% to 35%

  • Presented weekly funnel performance to the Ops team: "Checkout completion rate dropped 8% due to mobile form issues. Working with web designer to fix by EOW."

  • Coordinated with Kara (Paid Media) on ad-to-landing-page message match: "Your real estate angle is converting at 2.5% CTR, but landing page expects general business audience. Let's test aligned headline."

Your Core Responsibilities

Here's where you'll lead:

  • Conversion Rate Optimization: Own all conversion points across active funnels (A2A, Superhuman, masterclasses, evergreen)—landing pages, email sequences, checkout flows, show-up rates, replay strategies. Run continuous A/B tests. Analyze user behavior through heatmaps and session recordings. Coordinate with copywriter and web designer to implement winning variations. Current benchmarks you'll own: 30%+ landing page conversion, 35%+ show-up rates, 80%+ checkout completion.

  • Data Infrastructure & Reporting: Build and maintain bulletproof dashboards tracking 10-20 core metrics (ROAS, conversion rates, AOV, CAC, email deliverability, show-up rates). Create weekly performance reports for leadership. Implement QC protocols so formula errors never happen. You're the single source of truth for funnel performance data.

  • Funnel Documentation & Testing Roadmap: Map every funnel stage. Document what "good" looks like for each funnel type. Prioritize tests based on potential impact. Manage testing calendar so we're not changing 10 things at once. Turn every winning test into a repeatable playbook.

  • Cross-Functional Coordination: You're the hub between Paid Media, Creative, Web Designer, Copywriter, and Ops. Translate "ads performing but not converting" into actionable priorities. Direct specialists on what to build/test. Report funnel performance insights to Director of Operations (your boss) weekly.

  • Strategic Optimization Projects: Lead high-impact initiatives like email platform migrations (GHL to Kit), SMS reminder testing, replay pricing strategies, mobile checkout optimization—anything that moves the needle on funnel performance at scale.

The Traits We’re Calling In

We hire humans, not checklists, but success here requires:

  • You've spent 3-5 years in growth/CRO roles, preferably in DTC education or info products—you understand funnel math cold and can explain CAC, LTV, ROAS, AOV in your sleep

  • You're fluent in Google Analytics, Hotjar (or similar heatmap tools), GHL/ClickFunnels, email platforms, and can build dashboards without hand-holding

  • You're both data-driven AND creative about testing—you know when to trust the numbers and when to test a wild hypothesis

  • You default to "let's test it" rather than "I think this will work"—your opinions are backed by historical data and you document everything

  • You can present funnel performance to executives without getting lost in the weeds—you lead with the insight, then show the data

  • You have case studies proving you've improved conversion rates: "I took X funnel from Y% to Z% by doing..." is your favorite sentence

What Success Looks Like

You own these key metrics:

  • Landing Page Conversion Rate: Maintain 30%+ across all primary funnels

  • Masterclass Show-Up Rate: Improve from current 25% baseline to consistent 35%+

  • Checkout Completion Rate: Keep above 80%

  • Email Performance: Open rates 40%+, click rates 15%+

  • Data Dashboard Accuracy: 100% (zero formula errors, zero reporting discrepancies)

  • Testing Velocity: Launch minimum 2-3 meaningful tests per week

Example Quarterly Goal: Improve average masterclass show-up rate from 25% to 35% through email deliverability migration, SMS reminder testing, and replay strategy optimization.

💰 What This Pays

  • Base: $80-100K (based on experience)

  • Bonus: 10-15% tied to quarterly conversion improvement targets

  • Total Comp: $90-115K

📋 Launch Season Expectations

Our launch seasons are intentionally high-intensity and fast-paced to drive transformation for our clients and our team. Twice per year (10-12 weeks total), team members in launch-critical roles are expected to be available from 7 AM to 7 PM, with additional hours often required for preparation, execution, live event support, and post-launch debriefs.

Your role during launches: You're monitoring funnel performance in real-time, identifying conversion issues as they happen, coordinating rapid tests with web designer and copywriter, and reporting daily performance updates to Ops leadership.

This pace is not for everyone—and that's okay. We set this expectation clearly so that only those who thrive in high-accountability, high-impact environments choose to be here.

In return, you'll be part of a team that moves fast, solves real problems, and builds meaningful outcomes. Outside launch seasons, workload is sustainable and strategic—focused on building the systems that make the next launch even stronger.
