The Uncommon Business is the world's fastest-growing AI-first education company, teaching business leaders to architect intelligent systems, not just prompt tools. We don't do busywork, legacy thinking, or 80-hour founder weeks. We build companies where AI handles the repeatable, humans drive the irreplaceable, and leaders scale without burning out. We're profitable, EOS-driven, and operate in championship-level surge cycles. You'll be promoted on impact and ownership—not tenure. High performers thrive here. Passengers don't last.
You might have:
Conducted 15 welcome calls for new A2A students, drove 94% onboarding completion within 7 days, and identified 4 at-risk students before Week 2 for proactive intervention
Designed a Slack engagement ritual for Uncommon Leaders that increased monthly participation from 58% to 76% in 30 days through structured prompts and celebration systems
Built an AI-powered wins capture system that collected 28 student ROI stories in one week, feeding directly into marketing testimonials and case studies
Analyzed student health data across all three offers, surfaced 3 curriculum friction points to Carter with actionable recommendations, and implemented immediate program adjustments
Hosted a community Q&A call with 82 attendees, converted 11 underutilized students into active participants, and documented the top 5 questions for future onboarding improvements
We value ownership over task lists. Here's where you'll lead:
Student Onboarding & Activation: You design and execute onboarding experiences that get students to their first wins within 30 days by conducting welcome calls for every A2A and Uncommon Leaders student, ensuring 90%+ complete onboarding steps within 7 days, driving 80%+ activation rates, and building repeatable systems that scale without requiring your constant involvement.
Community Strategy & Engagement: You architect the rituals, challenges, and magic moments that keep students engaged and transforming by maintaining visible leadership in Slack (connecting students, sparking conversations, celebrating wins), ensuring 95%+ of posts get responses within 24 hours with your Ops/CS Assistant, owning monthly engagement rates for Superhuman Plus and Uncommon Leaders (target: 70%+), and creating conditions for peer-to-peer learning that multiplies impact.
Student Health Tracking & Proactive Support: You monitor weekly student health trends across all programs (participation, attendance, Slack activity, risk flags) and proactively reach out to at-risk students before they disengage, track completion rates for Superhuman Work and A2A cohorts, run mid-cohort check-ins, identify drop-off points, and surface actionable insights to Carter that improve curriculum and student experience.
Programming, Events & Strategic Insights: You design a calendar of calls, workshops, and events that deliver massive value and drive student action by coordinating community Q&As, guest expert sessions, and milestone celebrations while tracking how event engagement translates to student outcomes (application and transformation, not just attendance), and you deliver weekly student health reports to leadership with monthly insights on student needs, wins, friction points, and 2-3 strategic recommendations per quarter.
Wins Capture & Success Stories: You build systems for collecting student ROI, breakthroughs, and testimonials monthly that feed marketing, sales, and program iteration while showcasing student transformations to drive community momentum and social proof.
We hire humans, not checklists, but success here requires:
You've designed and executed engagement strategies in edtech, cohort-based learning, or membership communities that drove measurable outcomes—activation rates above 75%, retention improvements of 20%+, or NPS scores consistently above 8 with data to prove your impact.
You think in systems and rituals, not tasks — you don't just "do onboarding," you architect repeatable experiences that scale, document what works so others can execute it, and use AI and automation to multiply your capacity beyond what one person can traditionally handle.
You blend data and humanity, reading dashboards to spot trends and make strategic recommendations, then jumping on a call to have a transformational, empathetic conversation with a struggling student without missing a beat between analysis and human connection.
You thrive in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments where you have freedom plus responsibility, staying comfortable working in ambiguity, building clarity through action, and owning outcomes without needing perfect instructions or constant direction.
You're mission-aligned and AI-fluent, genuinely caring about helping business leaders transform with AI, understanding AI tools and workflows to use them daily, and eager to build AI-powered systems that scale student success without adding headcount.
You own these key metrics:

Our launch seasons are intentionally high-intensity and fast-paced to drive transformation for our clients and our team. Twice per year (10-12 weeks total), team members in launch-critical roles are expected to be available from 7 AM to 7 PM, with additional hours often required for preparation, execution, live event support, and post-launch debriefs.
This pace is not for everyone—and that's okay. We set this expectation clearly so that only those who thrive in high-accountability, high-impact environments choose to be here.
In return, you'll be part of a team that moves fast, solves real problems, and builds meaningful outcomes. You'll grow rapidly, work alongside exceptional talent, and contribute to work that truly matters. Outside launch seasons, workload is sustainable and strategic—focused on building the systems that make the next launch even stronger.
